Our Story is one of partnership, passion and purpose. We are partners in life, love and ministry and now are partners in our latest adventure, Higher Deeper Consulting. We took a 6 month sabbatical last year in 2024 to do all the R’s…rest, relax, refresh, rejuvenate, re-vision…and during that time realised that our best offering is to share our many years of experience and learnings with as many individuals, leaders, churches and organisations as we possibly can in the next 10 years!
This is what we are passionate about: seeing as many people as possible become their best selves. We have found that this is usually worked out collectively as we connect communities and individuals together, empowering both to reach their potential through a shared vision and sharing of resources. This passion and purpose has spurred us on to establish Higher Deeper Consulting with the dream of continuing to empower others.
We unashamedly live from the place of faith in Jesus Christ. We live, work and make decisions from this solid foundation. We have been pastoring and leading churches since 1998 and have seen thousands of lives and communities transformed. We have travelled and been involved in community and church work in Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Kenya and across Australia. Currently, we are accredited Pastors with ACC Qld/NT.
No stranger to setting up small businesses and not for profit community management groups, we have pioneered small businesses and managed a community basketball stadium. We understand the demands, the risks, and the rewards of the continuous responsibility of these types of ventures and what it takes to succeed.
We love being parents of four adult daughters, our two son-in-laws and enjoy immensely being grandparents to one grandbaby with more on the way.

With over 25 years of experience in diverse leadership roles and drawing on a Masters in Business Administration, Sue offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, ethical governance, and leadership development. Her proven track record in driving innovation, achieving social impact, and navigating complex mergers and challenges, positions her as a valuable asset to any organisation.
As a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and an experienced Company Secretary, Sue is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance.
